Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brandon Hagel has been fantastic for the Atlantic Division club this season. He has been one of the Lightning’s top offensive contributors throughout the campaign and has now hit a big stat because of it.

With his three-assist night against the Buffalo Sabres on April 13, Hagel has now hit the 90-point mark for the first time in his NHL career. He has also set new career highs with 35 goals and 55 assists this season, so it has been a year to remember for the 26-year-old winger.

Recording 90 points in a single season is a big accomplishment, and it shows just how talented a player Hagel is. With how excellently he is playing, Hagel ranks fourth on the Lightning in goals and second in both assists and points.

Overall, Hagel is only getting better with each season that passes, and the Lightning are benefitting from it immensely. Clearly, they made the right call acquiring him from the Chicago Blackhawks back during the 2021-22 season.
