The University of Greenwich is looking for contractors to join a £300m major-works framework.
A contract notice published by the institution said it aims to appoint between three and five suppliers for new build, rebuild and refurbishment projects across its three campuses.
Properties owned by the south London university include several scheduled monuments and listed buildings.
Works carried out through the framework are expected to be valued at between £50m and £250m.
Interested contractors have been invited to read the university’s 2021-30 strategy document, which commits Greenwich to reconfiguring its estates to adapt to the changing demands of student and staff working styles.
It also says the university wants to “create distinct identities for each campus that align [with] local and regional needs”, as well as committing to a rolling refurbishment programme, reducing energy use and working towards achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
The plan also suggests the university will bring “partner” organisations in to co-locate on its campuses.
According to the contract notice, works under the four-year framework will include preconstruction services, enabling works, build contracts, refurbishment, surveys, basement works, demolition and decommissioning.
The deadline for tenders is 5pm on 10 May.
